How to save YouTube videos
I have noticed, with increased frequency, the removal of interesting topics from the likes of YouTube and forums. My YouTube favorites list, as an example, has an ever growing list of deleted videos.
It would be wise to download videos so you at least have a copy in case they get removed. If we focus on YouTube I will show you how to download the videos…
First off grab yourself a copy of Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/) and then in the browser go to “TOOLS – ADDONS – EXTENSIONS” and search for an add-on called “Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express”. Once you have this installed whenever you’re on a video you wish to save look for this button…
From the drop-down list choose the format and quality you wish and then save to your hard-drive.
Now you never have to worry about a video being deleted again!
